[Guitar Vs. Piano]

It felt like something was missing...

The beginning, and the first minute and 30 seconds are amazing. When the piano kicks in, it's something to look forward to, but the fact is a piano normally sounds great when there are a few other instruments playing as well. And an electric guitar doesn't exactly go well with a piano either.

But because of that awesome intro, which I'm sure everyone loves, this song deserves at least 9/10. If you can, make a shorter version with just the guitar.

Really Good

The ending was pretty poor, as it was the same boring melody over and over again, but the intro was beautiful. In fact it was so good that I only took off one point for the rather bad ending. And of course, a 5/5. If you're making a longer version, consider getting rid of that ending.

Awesome Loop

I was just opening random windows, seeing if there were any songs I particularly enjoyed. I liked the intro to this, so I left it on while I did some other stuff. Now at first I thought it was a good ten minutes long, but it fits so well into itself that it actually took me ten minutes to realize it is a loop!

Anyway, it is a solid track. If you have nothing to do, I wouldn't mind a longer version because I don't particularly favor loops. If you don't want to, I don't care, it's on my playlist anyway.

Sorry but...

In this ae of technology, you just can't compare to artificial sounds. You've got some good talent, but honestly, do you expect people to listen to this kind of song non-stop?

Did I say to listen to it non-stop? Honestly, if someone listened to ANY song non-stop, I'd tell them to please look for something else to listen to; they'd practically be showing extreme addiction.

Also, I'm not trying to compare to today's instruments, did you seriously think I thought I was better than them? That's like telling Rocapella that they need to find a new medium of song.

But I'm not complaining. If there are two people like Nate on Newgrounds...well two people like BOUNC3 (since you insist you were first) then I figure that the great songs come up twice as fast! Very nice.

I feel like an idiot for being about to start writing the review just as the song started. The intro wasn't weak, it was just long. Then I hit 45 seconds and the rest was just amazing. Great work.

I should have had 2 deep kicks in the beggining to assure people there speakers arn't messed or somthing =P. A lot of my friends where like "What?" then "Oooooohhhhh".

Really good

The beginning is a little wierd, but since it is from the original I wouldn't penalize for that. And the rest of the song deserves a 10/10. Nice job.

It's pretty good

It gets a little monotonous at times. The first two minutes seem to be the same thing repeated over and over again. There isn't really much more to say than that. It's good, but I'm sorry to say it isn't great.

Fair point made. Problem is I'm kinda on the boundary of going crazy and changing the tune completely or keeping it safe and having the same tune.

I wanted to keep it familiar to that it was still actually the same song, but having a few instruments changed to keep the variety. You're right it was repetitive, but with a lack of musical ability in some cases, I can't create different patterns for some of the instruments.

I've taken your words into account on how it was monotonous, and have changed it a bit to make the notes hit a bit more on the spectrum.

Winter just ended here...

I'm so happy winter is over. This song just makes me happier by reminding me that.

Now for the song itself. It is nice, brief, but I didn't expect more from a demo. If anything, the fact that the first 50 seconds are the same tune over and over make it somewhat boring. So basically I'm listening to only two melodies through the whole song.

If you make it longer, add a few variants, mix them together at the end for a grand finale and voila.

Beuatiful song

I like how you managed to retain the lovely symphonic melody while integrating your own beat into it. It is definetly unlike any other trance song. It wasn't perfect, but it was definetly worth 5/5.
