Nice and upbeat

It sounds familiar because the intro seems to be simiilar to the music in Kingdom Hearts II. However the remainder of the song develops well and overall it is a pleasure to listen to. I like how you mixed various sorts of music...well. Most people that attempt it fail horribly, but this is actually really good. The second time that intro music comes around it sounds a lot better with another beat backing it.

It's amazing how you tok all these various things and put them together so fluently.

NemesisTheory responds:

More KH references. <3 It never gets old! haha

Mixed various sorts of music? I'm not quite sure what you mean there... it wasn't intentional though! I just make what comes into my head, and I guess sometimes things get a little mixed up in there lol.

I'm really glad you liked it. :)
Thank you for the review!

Impressive

I normally prefer hardcore techno, but this song is really cool too. It's not the type of song I'd listen to more than once in a row though, as it is six minutes and about half of it is consistent repetition, with additional beats included from time to time. As such, I'll give you a 5/5, a 10/10, but I won't download it. Sorry if that hurts your feelings...

DenVessidence responds:

lol no it dont hurt my feelings. if you liked it then im happy. i aint very good with the harcore stuff yet but you may want to try DV-Desmatus under the dance catagory. my hardest edged song i think.

Not too bad

I like how since you still have few songs, you manage to respond to everyone's comments. Anyway, for the review itself, I found the song extremely repetitive and frankly dancing was the last thing on my mind while listening to it. It seems more like the music to some old arcade game to me...

It isn't too bad in the sense that the general beat is good, but the problem is that it essentially repeats the same beat. Imagine playing a song on the guitar, then the same melody on the drums, and the same one on a violin and a bass and so on. That's what this was like. The same thing and although there was a difference, it was still too monotonous to be great.

ChYrZ-LeGeNd responds:

thank you for the review I will take your advise on to my next songs :)

Really cool

However, it felt more like listening to nine songs. Try to make the transitions between songs a little smoother.

B0UNC3 responds:

9 previews in 1 track. I don't care about the transitions as long as the tracks themselfs sound ok =)

Sorry but...

In this ae of technology, you just can't compare to artificial sounds. You've got some good talent, but honestly, do you expect people to listen to this kind of song non-stop?

sonicmega responds:

Did I say to listen to it non-stop? Honestly, if someone listened to ANY song non-stop, I'd tell them to please look for something else to listen to; they'd practically be showing extreme addiction.

Also, I'm not trying to compare to today's instruments, did you seriously think I thought I was better than them? That's like telling Rocapella that they need to find a new medium of song.

*Dumbstruck*

I feel like an idiot for being about to start writing the review just as the song started. The intro wasn't weak, it was just long. Then I hit 45 seconds and the rest was just amazing. Great work.

F-777 responds:

I should have had 2 deep kicks in the beggining to assure people there speakers arn't messed or somthing =P. A lot of my friends where like "What?" then "Oooooohhhhh".

Thanks for the awesome review!!!

It's pretty good

It gets a little monotonous at times. The first two minutes seem to be the same thing repeated over and over again. There isn't really much more to say than that. It's good, but I'm sorry to say it isn't great.

BozGuyon responds:

Fair point made. Problem is I'm kinda on the boundary of going crazy and changing the tune completely or keeping it safe and having the same tune.

I wanted to keep it familiar to that it was still actually the same song, but having a few instruments changed to keep the variety. You're right it was repetitive, but with a lack of musical ability in some cases, I can't create different patterns for some of the instruments.

I've taken your words into account on how it was monotonous, and have changed it a bit to make the notes hit a bit more on the spectrum.

Thanks again for the review.

First song?

I don't make music, but I have seen new artists come and go. For a first song, this is really qutie good. If you're new to Fl Studio 7, its only a matter of time before you figure out all the fun stuff you can do and then make some really good ones.

I don't have much else to say based on one track. Make a few more (if you want to) and I'll be happy to share my opinion on each.

TheFuzy responds:

Alright, thanks for that. I will surely make more. I often switch between my other accounts. so stay tuned for more songs.

Ehhhh...

Take my advice for the future, if you're going to make a loop, do not make an annoyingly long intro. If anything, a loop should have as much "awesomeness" as it can compacted into one minute or less.

Nintechno responds:

Pffffft! In the big scheme of things, does it REALLY matter? I mean, this song has been on for ages and nobody else seems to give a crap about it being called a loop.

Nice

The beginning made me want to stop listening but I forced myself to hear it out and it actually gets pretty good.

And finally someone gets the allusion right, for this indeed sounds like the type of music that would be playing if you're trying to escape a pyramid.

raretools responds:

Glad you keept listening ^^

I come on Newgrounds to find nice music and occasionally play a game. I love to review though I tend to avoid writing bad reviews. No point in making the bad worse...
